Open-Source Licenses

Genesis Dynamics, S.L. distributes and operates the third-party open-source components below. This page provides the attribution and the written offer of source code required by their licenses, and is valid for anyone who possesses the corresponding object code.

RustDesk (remote desktop client and server)

Licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 (AGPL-3.0). Upstream: github.com/rustdesk/rustdesk.

What we distribute

When Genesis Dynamics serves the RustDesk client from its own origin (a convenience mirror of the official, unmodified upstream release), the file is byte-for-byte identical to upstream, pinned to the SHA-256 hash below, and that hash is verified before the client is run. Otherwise, endpoints obtain the client directly from the upstream project.

We do not modify the RustDesk source code. All Genesis-specific behaviour (self-hosted relay host, server public key, unattended-access settings) is applied through RustDesk's own configuration mechanisms, which is configuration, not modification.

Written offer of Corresponding Source (AGPL-3.0 §6)

The Corresponding Source for any RustDesk binary we serve is the unmodified upstream source at the tag above: github.com/rustdesk/rustdesk/tree/1.4.6. For at least three years we will also, on request, provide a copy of the Corresponding Source for the version we distribute, for no more than the cost of distribution. Contact dev@genesis-dynamics.com.

Network use (AGPL-3.0 §13)

We operate an unmodified upstream rustdesk-server (hbbs / hbbr) as our relay/rendezvous. As it is unmodified, its Corresponding Source is the upstream project: github.com/rustdesk/rustdesk-server.
